5 Over-The-Edge Email Marketing Benefits

1. Repeat Sales.

Searching for new customers is not only hard it is also time consuming and you the need additional budget for it. It will be like starting your marketing from scratch all over again/ Some business owners tend to forget about their customers after the initial sale. This is one mistake you should not commit.

Repeat sales can be more profitable than the initial sale. Keeping in touch with your past customers on a regular basis is your step to generating more sales in the future.

2. Sales Conversion.

You cannot always convince people on the first attempt. If you want to make a sales conversion you have to follow up on your initial contact to make sure you have been read and heard. Persuasion is the key to email marketing. If people do not have a need for your product or service now maybe they will have in the days to come. Do not give up on the first try. Follow up.

3. Cross Selling.

If you have made a major sales hit with your customers in the past they probably would want to hear from you and your products again. But this time you can push your marketing a notch higher by offering related products to the ones they have bought.

For example you sold some golf clubs. Why not try and offering your customers your golf bags to go with the clubs? It’s all about maximizing what you have.

4. Valuable Customer Feedbacks.

Getting feedbacks from your customers will give you an idea of who best to target and what to offer to them. This is why you need feedback from customers.

Most customers tend to be more honest through email interaction than in person. Listen to what they have to say and learn not only about their wants but also their woes. Then you do something about it afterwards.

5. Real Action.

Email marketing is all about the call to action. You are helping your customers decide to buy or avail something. You want action and you will be able to achieve that by combining your words images credibility and power of persuasion.

Contacts into sales. Sales into profits. All these can be done through email marketing.

5 Link Popularity Exercises That Do Not Help Your Page Rank

After getting to know that link popularity is the most important factor that search engines consider when deciding your Page rank almost everyone has taken to posting their back links all over the internet. However gaining credible link popularity that increases your page rank is really not as easy as it sounds and most people who do not know much about how Page rank works keep creating text links that are either useless or even harmful for their webpage. In order to make link popularity work for you it is important to avoid the most common link building mistakes.

1. Creating Links on Unrelated Pages. Search engines nowadays are smart enough to decipher whether your link is relevant to the users of the webpage that they are placed on or not. So if you are putting the text links of your WebPages which are related to cooking on websites that deal with high end electronic goods wrestling or real estate you can be sure that these links will be trashed by the search engine doing zilch for your Page rank. So create links on sites that have related content. For example if you have a cooking related website placing links on home improvement restaurant recipe and kitchen equipment sites will be helpful.

2. Creating Text Links That Proclaim Click Here. Google search engine spiders use the text on your hyperlink to determine what your website is all about and this plays an important role in determining both your Page rank as well as your search engine rankings. By putting hyperlinks that simply say click here for more information or know more here you are telling the search engines that your website is about clicking and knowing more and that is where you will be ranked high instead of getting high search engine rankings for your own domain. Make it a point to use relevant keywords in your text links.

3. Creating Links on High Page rank Pages That Already Have Hundreds of Links. Yes it is true that the higher the PR of a page linking to you the higher will be the value assigned to the link by the search engines and the greater will be your page rank. This is because the value or points that you get from a page that links back to you is determined by the formulapage rank of linking page / number of links on that page. But it is equally important to pay attention to the denominator of the formula since a highly ranked page with lots of back links may end up giving you lower value than a page with lower rank but lesser links.

4. Placing Links on Dynamic Pages. Web pages that are generated dynamically take ages to get indexed and in all probability a text link on such a page will never help in increasing your page rank. Identify dynamic pages by URLs with special symbols in them etcetera and save your time by not posting any text links to your site on such pages.

5. Creating Links On Pages Those SE Spiders Cannot Crawl On. The whole point of building link popularity for increasing page rank is to make your site accessible to search engine spiders. However search engine bots have not become smart enough to read pages generated by Flash or JavaScript. They are also unable to read text links placed within frames so it is a complete waste of time creating back links on sites that are either Flash generated or framed since these links would be totally ignored by search engine spiders.

5 Fee Setting Mistakes How To Avoid Them

By Victoria Player the “Online Marketing Coach”

How do you feel about the prices you charge for your services? Chances are that you have some doubts and insecurities particularly if you’re just starting out. Here are a few things to keep in mind when setting your fees so that you can charge what you’re worth and get it.

1. You’re Not Selling Your Service

You probably think that I am crazy by saying this but you really aren’t selling your services at all. What you are in fact selling are the benefits and results that your clients can expect to achieve. They’re not interested in how you deliver your service but rather in the results they gain as a result of working with you. The common mistake is to talk about the features and process of your service rather than the benefits when discussing fees. Always put the focus on the client and the emphasis on the things they can accomplish. If you don’t know what your client’s desired outcome is how will you or they know when they’ve reached it?

2. Talking About Price Too Early

If a prospect wants to know what your fees are begin by telling them a little about the benefits of your service first so that they understand the value. Begin by acknowledging that you’re going to answer their question but first explain that you need to gather some information about their situation. Don’t allow them to press you. You need to establish value by discussing the results they might expect to achieve and perhaps which service package or program if you have more than one is most suitable for them. Only then should you tell them the price.

3. Charging By Time

Don’t be tempted to let your clients think that they are paying for your time. What they are actually paying for are the fabulous results that they can expect to gain as a result of working with you. We no longer live in an age where an hourly rate is king but are actually paid for outcomes and results. Remember also that a lot of the learning for a client takes place between sessions not just during it.

4. Giving Your Time Away

Look at how you spend your time on menial tasks such as grocery shopping or cleaning. You will not be able to charge higher fees unless you delegate some of these tasks. Consider how much potential revenue you could generate by working on your business for one hour. Why not pay someone 10 per hour to do your grocery shopping and dry cleaning whilst you work. Compare the difference between the money you could generate in that time and the cost of someone else doing it. What is an hour of your time worth? The more you value your time the more you can charge.

5. Accepting Discounts

Don’t be tempted to give discounts and don’t feel that you have to give explanations not to reduce your fees. When someone requests a discount ask him or her which component they would like to have removed from your service. Is there really a reason that’s compelling enough to accept a discount? It puts you out of pocket and dents the value you hold for yourself. Don’t be afraid that you will loose a client. Those that are committed to a strong working relationship will find a way to pay your fee. The people that quibble are probably not the calibre of client you might wish to work with anyway.

The key to charging what you’re worth and getting it is remembering to put value before price. If you doubt your fees try to catch yourself in the act. It’s amazing how awareness breaks a bad habit. Remember that it’s just your internal ‘Gremlin’ at work so be sure to change the questions you’re asking yourself. What’s the value my clients are getting? What benefits are they gaining as a result of working with me? How is that impacting their life? Take the focus off yourself and direct is back onto the value that you are bring to your clients’ lives. This will have you charging more in a flash!
